Clerk would contact Mr. Eisler of
Goderich, to ascertain what wpuld
be involved in obtaining his ser-
vices as Dog. Control Officer for
Auburn, and possibly the Township
as well.
The Chairman of .the Village
Trustees•also approached Council
regarding the feeling of Wect
Wawanosh toward a withdrawal of
the village from the Township of
West and East Wawanosh; and be-
coming wholly a part of Hullett
Township. Opinion is divided on
this question.
Don Cameron questioned Coun-
cil about a back-up of water on
his land since the reconstruction
of Sideroad 18-19 Concession 8.
Mr. Cameron was told the situa-
tion would be checked to see if a
drain has been plugged during the
construction work.
Messrs.. Wm. Hardy and Ed-
ward Robinson appeared before
Council to ask about having the
creek running through Lots 25 , 26
27 Concession 7 and 8 cleaned
out. Mr. Hardy was advised to
conta ct Said Bradshaw'of the Min-
istry of Agriculture and Food in
Clinton, to determine the best`
procedure to be taken in this re-
gard.
Wm. Beyersbergen approached
Council about the inefficient '
function of a road culvert on Con-
cession 10-11 in front of his prop-
erty.

Fred Pierce, manager at. the
Lucknow and District Co-opera-
tive
o-opera-tive for two years, accepted a
position as manager of the Col-
chester Co-op at Truro, Nova
Scotia. Stuart Jamieson, an em-
ployee of the Co-op here for a/
number of °years , was appointed
acting manager. '.
Dr. P. H. H. Bissonnette of
Ripley purchased the veterinary
practice and property of Dr. Mark
W. Raithby of Lucknow. The new
pactice was to be known under the
new name of Ripley:-Lucknow
Veterinary Services. Dr. 'Peter
Johnston was in charge of the Luck-
Peel,

Peel, regarding violence in minor,
hockey in Ontario, was tabled,
since Council felt that as the
Hockey Association is already •
dealing with the subject, such a
resolution is unnecessary.
An Application for Tile Drain-
age Loan on the sl/2 of Lot 21
Concession was approved on mo-
tion of Councillors Rutherford and
Foran.
A motion that West Wawanosh
request an additional subsidy allo-
cation for reconstruction of the
south portion of Sideroad-18-19
_Concession 7, was made by Coun-
cillors Hickey and Foran, and
carried.
The road accounts were ordered
paid on motion of Councillors
Hickey and Foran.
