Arnold and Miss Chris- tine Robertson greeted the con- gregation. * 0 The Ripley community was / treated to a fine musical presen- tation on the evening, of, June 2nd when the Junior Choir of St. And- rew's United Church and the C.G. 1,T; presented an operetta "Its Cool in the Furnace" which was the story of Daniel and his friends. The young people had worked hard and did a very splendid pres- entation. Mrs. Jack McGuire, assisted by Mr. and Mrs. Carno- chan, Marilyn Johnson, Mrs. Ray Hamilton, Mrs. Oscar White and many other helpers are to be con- gratulated, 0 Mrs. Audrey Schandlen of Port Credit spent theweek end with Mr, and Mrs. Don McCosh. She was assisted by Mrs. Ralph Elliott, Mrs. Elwyn Pollock, 'and Mrs. Rod MaclSon- ald, She also read the article in • a recent Observer called "Jesus is real, a family finds" and added her own -comments.
