Mrs. Robt. Irvin who concluded
with the following poem;

bird?"
The topic continued with the
theme Citizenship and was "Six
Flags over Ontario". It was well
illuStrated and explained by Mrs.
Clarence McClenaghan and Mrs.
Roy Robson. Lunch was served
by the hostesses, convened by
Mrs. Lorne Ivers. The June meet-
ing on Cultural Activities is to be
"at the home of Mrs. Wilbur Brown
in Lucknow.

On Thursday Mrs. Mac Arm-
strong (nee Alma Conn) an honor
graditate of Ontario Veterinary
College left by plane for Langen-
burg, Saskatchewan, where she
started work in the clinic 'on June
1. Her husband Mac Armstrong
left on Friday night with the house
trailer and car expecting to arrive
by. Wednesday at Langenburg.

Sunday Mr. and. Mrs. Jack

return home from Wingham and ,
District Hospital on Thursday.

Mrs. Jim Keen (Ruby Conn) re-
turned home by plane on Saturday
to British Columbia after spending
two weeks with her mother Mrs:
Johnston Conn and with her father
Johnston Conn at University Hos-
pital ,.London.
Arthur Smeltzer, R. R. I Rip-
ley , was a recent caller in the
village at the home of Victor
Emerson seeking information of
Abel Smeltzer and Joe Smeltzer.

folks lived, attended church or
are buried pleak contact him.
Mrs. Victor E merson on Thurs-
day accompanied Mrs. Dave Ire-
land, Bruce. South District Wom-
en's Institute President, to Bruce
East W.I. District Annual held at
Knox Presbyterian Church, Walk-
erton.
On Wednesday Alan Falconer
and Angus Falconer had basements
dug on the north side of Highway,
86 for new houses.
