It is quite pretty and we are enjoying, it very much. Thank you.R.D.S. Students. bon'l forget Registration Day on Friday for the "Class of 1974-75". SEPOY VARIETY STORE GRADE 5-6 On`Tuesday., May 21 our Class left. for the .Outdoor Education Centre north of Wiarton. We arrived about 11..00 a.m. We 'had a short lesson on What we were going to do. ,We then ate lunch. At 12.00 the grade six.pupils went on a soil'study while t1,grad.e' 5's planted trees.' At 2.15 the grade 5's did, the soil study' while the grade 6's planted trees. 'We then, ,hiked over to the lake where We ;:were gOing to camp. Once we got !there we put up the tents, gather .- edfirewood and made the' fire. For supper. we had hamburgers and corn, pop and smores. Once we got the ditties washed and, the. camp tidied the grade 6's went on a hike through the bush while, the grade 5's did a fresh water • study. When we returned we had a campfire and told stories, did plays and learned the names of the stars. We roasted hot dogs , and marshmallows.' At 10.3.0 we went to bed. The next morning we started the -fire; For breakfast we had French toast and bacon. After breakfast we packed and .took down the tents. We hiked back to the portable then, the grade 5's did a weather study and the. grade 6's did a fresh water study. At about 12.00 ,we ate lunch then loaded the bus and left for Ripley. He brought'a boomer- ang and two stuffed koala bears made 'of real koala ,bear fur. Mr. Stanley saw kangeroos and koala bears.. The bears are very friendly. He saw lizards in the middle of the road and sting- ers, whose bite will kill you' in thirty seconds.
