Graydon Ritchie of Lucknow
passed away suddenly on Monday,
June 3rd at. Wingham and District
Hospital. He was in his 58th
year.
The funeral service will be held
at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jtine 6th at
MacKenzie Memorial Chapel,
Lucknow.
Interment will be in Greenhill
Cemetery.

The Honourable John R. Rhodes,
Minister of Transportation and
Communications, has-announced
the awarding of acontract for
improvements to Highway 86 in
the Stratford District to Cox Con-
struction Ltd. , of Guelph, for
$296 ,
The project will include hot
mix paving, cable guide 'rail and
deck waterKaofing on Highway 86
from Wingh$m east limits wester7
ly to Lucknow east limits '11.6
miles and from 9.5 miles east of
Wingham east limits easterly 6.6
miles at various loCations.
Work is slated to begin mid-
June , 1974 with completion sclied -
ulea for late August; 1974.
Ray Nelson, who has been in
charge of the local branch of the
Royal Bank of Canada since it
opened last December, has been
named manager of the Moorefield
branch and has'commenced his
duties. Ray purchased the home
of Mac Conley when he moved to
Lucknow.
Al Pacey , who has been work-
ing in a supervisoq managerial
position with the•area Agri Bank
service , will' manage .the Lucknow
branch and Ken Machan of Cliff-
ord has been appointed as assistant
manager here with his duties to
commence' in July.
During. Mr. Nelson'S brief time
in Lucknow,' he had served as an
active member of the newly form-
ed .Lucknow. Kinsmen Club.

Engineering Electronic Technology,
has accepted a position with Xerox
of Canada Ltd. , London Branch.

Thirty-two' years of faithful ded-
icated service terminated on Fri-
day, May 31st, when Mrs. Iris E.
Money's resignation from the
Wingham and District Hospital
took effect. During. Mrs. Money's
term as Lady Superintendent , Ad-
ministrator and Executive Direct-
or she was the guiding factor •in
three additions to the original hos
pital. The first addition was in
1945 , the second in 1955 'and the
last in 1965, bringing the
institution to its present capacity
of 104 beds.
Mrs. Morrey graduated as a
Registered NUrse froth the Glen-
ville Hospital, Cleveland , Ohio,
in 1929. Following graduation and
a short term of duty she returned
to Canada , and in 1932 took psych-
iatric training at the Ontario
