LANGSIDE NEWS
Mrs.'Jim Young received a
wrong number phone- call this past
week. This is not unusual, but
the call was coming from Sidney,
Australia. The party was trying to
reach a Clinton exchange.
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs..
Don Wall on the birth of their
daughter , May 13th.
Peter de Boer was home for the
week end.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Young and
family, Mr., and Mrs. Don. Wall,
Mr. and-Mrs. Don Martin, John
and Dan, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon
Struthers and Doug were guests of
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Struthers, Shar-
on and Cindy on Sunday when they
celebrated Cindy's birthday which
was May 13th.
Mr. J. A. Deyarnond held the
worship service at Langside. He
will be conducting the service for
two months. ,
Jim Orr was the guest of Mrs.
William Orr-and Bob on the week
end.

We welcome Ge-off Fentdn to our
class from St. Catharines. We
now have 7 girls and 17 boys.
Ian's Calla-Lilly has another
bloom. This is the 3rd flower
since March 1st.
We are planning our class trip
for June.
Mrs. MacKenzie and Mrs. Mac.-
Donald attended a Reading Confer
ence in Toronto last Wednesday.
They said that they got quite a .
few new and exciting ideas for us
to try.

CROSS COUNTRY

the cross country meet to be held

had a' day off while the teacher

On May 21-22, we are going
camping at the Outdoor Education
Centre near Spry Lake: We-are
busy preparing for our trip. We
are all very excited. We are go-
ing to be sleeping in plastic tents,

Brussels, caught his right foot in a „
power mower. He was treated and
transferred to S. Joseph's Hos-
pital, London.
Kennethliopper, R. R. 5J3rus-
sels, was 'injured in a motor ve-
hicle accident on May 11. He re-
ceived a fractured breastbone and
multiple lacerations. Investigat-
ed by 0.P.P. Foulon.
Two, farm accidents involving
cattle this past week were:.

a. cow she was helping to load.

shoulder May 8. She was treated
and later released.
David Pletch , age 12 of Bel-
grave , was bitten by a dog on the
left leg.
