Happy Hearts Host Town and Country Lucknow Club On April 19th ,• the Happy Hearts Club of Ripley entertained the Town and Country Club of Lucknow. The hostess, Mrs. Loy- ell Huston, greeted everyone at the door. The program commit- tee , Mrs. Adeline Martyn, Miss Christene Robertson and Ab Tout was assisted' by the Directors. There were 31 tables of euchre and 3 tables iof other -games at the Public School auditoriurn. The. Lucknow people came by bus and 4 cars. We were so happy to see so many people turn out, about 140 in all., The prize winners were Sadie Hamilton and Walter, Alton, both of Lucknow. Prizes were given for lucky chair and birthdays nearest date to April 19th. A sing song. followed led ,. by Reg Moore who was also Master of ceremonies.' Lunch was served with Mrs. John Wylds, in charge, assisted by many other ladies and the men passed' the tea trays. * A short program of a duet by Mrs. Effie Sutherland and Mrs.• Florence Kixkpatrick, as Well as songs by our choir of ladieS, namely Mrs. Donald Blue, 'Mrs. Frank Fair, Mm.
