Treat Injuries
At Hospital.
Mrs. Marie Higgins, Wroxeter,
fell on the ice it the Wingham
Curling Rink and fractured her left
wrist.
Tom Robinson, age 33, Wing-
.
ham, received a laceration to his
leit eyelid while playing hockey
at the Wingham arena.
Mrs. pieternella Jouwsma , R, R,
2 Wingham, was admitted to,the
hospital with pulled ligaments of
the right knee, caused by 'a
fall at home. -
Miss Anne Mohr , age 18, R. R.
1 Lucan was a passenger in a car
driven by Pan/ Somerville, which
went out of control on Highway
#4 north of Wingham., She receiv-
ed a dislocated left elbow , was
treated and. later released. In-
vestigated by Wingham 0.P.P.
Wayne Ten Pas, age 11., R. R.
2 Wingham, fractured his left arm
at the Turnberry Central School.
A two car motor vehicle accid-
ent on Highway #86 occurred
March 2'7 near the Perth-Huron
County Line, both cars travelling
west. A car driven by Frank Vand-
erbroek made a left hand turn Into
a privatedriveway and was struck
by a car driven by Ira McLean.
The ambulance was,called and the
two' men in the Vanderbroek car,
most seriously injured, were taken
to Listowel Hospital and Ira Mc-
Lean was brought into Wingham
hospital suffering multi abrasions
to face, left hand fractured', and
lacerated right hand. Wingham
0.P .P. Ricker investigated.
Mrs. Ethel McEwan, Wingham,
was admitted with a -
fracnired right hip suffered in a
fall.
Tom Robinson, Wingham ; frac-
tured some ribs playing hockey at
the arena. •
William Heughan, Wingham,
fell at' home and fractured his' left
wrist and hip. .
Alexander Fitzgerald, age 14,
Teeswater, fractured a bone in his
right hand playing at school.
Harry Vollmer, R. R. 2 Tees-
water; received a laceration over
his right eyebrow playing hockey
at the Belrnore arena.
Mrs. Audrey Reid,. Wingham,
fell Orrice and received possible
fractured ribs. •
Mrs. Anne Wisser, Lucknow ,
fell on ice March 31 and fractured
her right ankle,.
Douglas Leitch, age 19, Wing-
ham, received a lacerated nose
playing hockey at the Wingham
arena.
A car driven 'by
Kenneth Charles missed the curve
in the road on, Highway 87, 1/4
mile East of Wroxeter on March 31
and rolled down the 40-45 foot
embankment landing in the river ,
roof down. Sandy Sanderson, age
22, R. R. 2, Wroxeter, was able
to escape from the car and giVeri
dry clothing at the home of John'
Gibson:: She was admitted to hos:-
pital via ambulance with scalp
abrasions and small laceration to
left hand and injured shoulder.•
Dead on arrival at hospital
were Kenneth, Charles, age 21,
Gorrie; Brenda Brown,„ age 17,
'Wroxeter; Wayne Sanderson, age
26, R. R. 2, Wroxeter; Rayinond
McConnell, age 23, R. R. 2
