This past week the Grade Four
class received a new pupil. Her

the pupils gathered in the gym to
watch the play "The Witch's First
Birthday" put on by some of the
pupils from the Kincardine High

March 31st quietly celebrated her
93rd birthday. She enjoys fairly
good health and is looked after ,
by her daughter, Betty

happy occasion the week previous

her and on Sunday Mr. and MrS.
Jim Smith of Goderich, Mr. and
Mrs. George Gaunt of Exeter and
Mrs. Bob Adams and girls were
visitors. Mrs. Inglis received
many beautiful cards, flowers and
gifts. The community wishes
for Mrs. Inglis many more years
of health.
On Monday evening Mrs. Dan
Tiffin, Mrs, Jahr' Currie, Mrs.
Wm. Rintoul and Mrs. Victor
Emerson were at Miss Merle Wil-
son's compiling convener reports
for Whitechurch Women's Institute.
Mrs. Dykema of Cambridge

were this past week end on a trip

the hospital again' And we hope ,
she will soon be better.
Shanda Zipfel is looking forward
to a trip to Germany with her
mother. We will miss her but
hope she has a real good time.

GRADE FIVE-SIX
On Wednesday March 13 , 1974
we received our report cards;„
At 7.30 a.m. March 13, 1974
we left for the outdoor education,
centre north of Wiarton and arriv-
ed 'at 9.30 a.m. We were divided
into groups' of three for orienteer-
ing. The first group left while the
others were learning about making
tin foil dinners. The rest of the
groups left at 5 minute 'intervals.
For dinner we had
tinfoil dinners consisting of carrots,
potatoes, bacon, onions and
mearpattiei. We went to Spry
Lake to build fires on' which to
cook our dinners. Foi dinner we
also had hot chocolate, marsh-
ed at 3.3.0. We all enjoyed' our-
