who are living in Djaharta, and
near Java ISland , for two years.
Their work is in imprOving agric-

Affairs.
Mr. and Mrs. John' Bere and
Karen Hernandez from Sault Ste,
Marie are holidaying this
week with Mrs. Mary here and
family. Mr, and Mrs. Dwight
Aldham, John, Greg and Larissa
from Goderich were home on Sun-
day also.

Miss. Pearl Caldwell is a patient

Hospital. She was taken by am-
bulance on Sunday following 'a
seizure and fall in her home. She
is wished a speedy recovery by
friends here.
Wandy Park was quite sick all

A short program was 'given con-
sisting of ,songs by four C.G.I.T.
girls., Jan Caesar, Elaine Stewart,
Debbie Bowden and Annette'
Hodges, accompanied by Nancy
Errington; a. piano solo by Joanne
Culbert; a vocal duet by Frances.
and Irene Logtenberg with Irene
accompanying; Shelley Rivett
played a piano' solo followed by
"Here Comes the Bride".
Rosemary then came forward
t6a decorated chair and was
assisted in opening her gifts by
Martha Eedy and Pat Willert.
Gifts were carried by several
neighbouring girls, Denise Maize,
Glenda Park, Jennifer Drennan
and Joanne Culbert.' Rosemary
gracionsly thanked all and extend•
ed- an invitation to .a trousseau \N
tea to be given by her mother• on
April 6. Lunch was served by the
4th concession neighbours.

having a "Pot Luck Dinner' when
mothers will be guests, as well as

There are many holiday activit-.
ies planned for this week when
school is out for the winter break.
Several boys from our commun-
ity play with the Lucknow teams..
On Monday the Fleas are playing
in a tournament in Teeswater.
Others are interested in the annual
Hockey Week in Goderith. Tom
Park, Hugh'and Bernie Burgsma
and Richard Jerjens, who have
played with the Whalers of the
Lucknow South League hockey,
were happy when that'team won
the trophy on Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Ross MacDonald
from' Ottawa , also Mr. and Mrs.
Jim. Peterson of Lucknow were
guests during the week end with
the fOrmer's mother, Mrs. Lillian
MacDonald. Rods, who had at-
