Lucknow had the misfortune of
losing part of "his ,thumb while
employed at Dominion Roads,
Goderich. He was admitted to
Goderich Hospital on Thursday.
THAT .Rev. Glenn Noble of Luck-
now and South Kinloss Presbyter-
ian Churches was one of four
ministers from Brtice Maitland
Presbytery of the Presbyterian
Church to attend a weeklong
study session in _Vancouver in
February. The, topic was "Car-
eer Development Planning" and
was arranged by the Vancouver
SchOdl Of Theology as a joint
project of the Presbyterian, Un-
ited and Anglican Churches. The
other ministers attending were '
John Fortier of Tiverton, Charles
Shaver of Hanoyer and, Harold
Colvin of Markdale.

Real Estate Ltd. of which he is
president. Before entering the real
estate business in Ipso, Mr.' Hoist
and his,: Wife Muriel owned and
operated beauty salons in Mark-
dale and Dundalk.
mi. Hoist is past president of the
Grey-Bruce Real Estate Board,
past president of the MarkdaleKins4
men and Hanover Rotary clubs and
past district deputy governor of the
Association of Kinsmen Clubs in
the area.

Manto, father of Marilyn (Mrs.
James Livingston) of Elora,.Betty
(Mrs. ,Murray MacKenzie) of
Paisley, Carole (Mrs. Lorne
Siefert) of Waterloo, Dianne (Mrs.
George DeWit) of Kitchener and
Robert of Fergus; also survived by
22 grandchildren and two great
grandchildren.
The late Mr. Charles Bristow
rested at the Breckenridge-Ash-
croft Funeral Home, in Owen
Sound from noon On Sunday until
Monday afternoon, where a ser-
vice was held at 1.30 p.m. Tem-
porary entombment in Green-
wood Mausolem, later interment
in Woolwich cemetery in'Elmira.
Mr. Bristow waia former Luck-
now resident and managed Beatty
Ladder Co. in Lucknow a number
of years ago. He was employed
by the post office in Owen Sound.
