The grade 7 and 8 boys had a ,
hockey game lastweek. The
grade 8's defeated the grade 7's
by a 5 to '3 score. Good going,
boys! '
The grade ,7 and 8 girls are
practising for a borden ball tourn-
' ament on Saturday Malch 2.
The boys are also getting a team
started.
On'Thursday, February 28, Con
stable Gaylor arrived at the
school to show the pupils a film
about electricity and fits hazards,
'entitled "Its'- Been a' Good Day".
After the film was over we were
shown a model of some hydro
accident's, common in Ontario.
In this model, which was plugged
into a 110 volt outlet, the people
lit up when they came in contact
with the wires.

there were free pamphlets., a
bicycle that made music, mov-
ies and a chemist doing experi-
ments.
When it was time to leave :
there was a scramble for hats and
coats', then we lined 'up,

lunch there. When we were finish
ed eating we started home.. rhe

OUR TRIP
On Tuesday, February 26th,
19'74 the children and teachers
of the Lucknow open area went
/ on a trip to the Owen Sound
Science Circus. We started off
on two buses at a quarter after 9.

some singing and some just talk-
