wel Hospital where she underwent
surgery.. We learn she is making

HOME ECONOMICS & SHOP
The boys are taking home econ-
omics and the girls shop, on a
three week exchange. Friday,
February 15, is, the last'week for
this. The boys have become,
skilled at cooking and sewing and
the girls have learned to handle
hammers and saws.
The girls' volley' ball team are
going' to Walkerton.High School
to compete on Saturday, February
16.
In junior floor hockey the.two
all-star teams are playing against
each other. Senior floor hockey
is also being played. Randy Jan-
sen's team No. 6 is in first .
place with 16 points.
Our school took part, in the Can-
adian Legion Public Speaking
contest in the Lucknow Legion
Hall on Monday , February 11.,
The speakers were divided into a
junior group and a senior group.
In the senior group Marilyn
Rhody was first, and Kathryn
McKim second , both from Luck-
now school.' In the juniors, the
second place winner was Marilynn(
McIntyre of Kinloss Central.
