game, the Jets defeated the Sharks
5 - 1. 'Greg Gibson had a hat trick
and John Edisbury scored a pair for
the Jets. Eddie Van Osch was the
lone marksman for the Sharks.
In the, second game the Whalers
edged the Crusaders 4 to' 3. Rich-
ard Jurjens had a hat trick and
Kevin Machan with a single were
the marksmen for the Whalers.
Jim Foran, Eddie McDonald and
Tom Sinnett tallied for the Crus-
aders. -
In the third game the Toros de-
feated the Blades 6 - 2. Alec
Purees with a hat trick, Joe Boyle;
Bobby Hackett and Alex Irvin
registered goals for the Toros.

now for an exhibition hockey
game. The visitors really
outclassed the' local boys and de-
feated them by a score of 11 to 4":

The high flying Lucknow Inter-
mediate hockey club was shot
down on Wednesday of last week
by the Lucknow ,Juvenile hockey
team.
The Juveniles, while waiting
for the Q. M.H.A. playoffs ,
outplayed , outshot and outscored
the Intermediates .'9 - 6.
It is said that threats of revenge
could 'be heard through the walls
of the' Interniediate dressing
room.
