was soloist. She sang "Walk Hand
in Hand" before the wedding ser-
vice and "The Wedding Prayer"
and "I'll Walk. Beside You" ,

The bride's' mother wore a floor
length gown of rose polyester
gabardine with white rhinestone
flower trim. She wore a white
and rose Carnation corsage. The
groom's older sister Mrs. John
Van Werde•of Sarnia wore a blue-
flowered floor length gown and a
white and gold carnation corsage.
For a honeymoon to :the United
States, the bride donned a red
pant suit with white pullover
and black accessories.
, A 'wedding dinner was served at
five -thirty in the Lucknow Legion
Hall ,with a reception following
later in the evening. Mr.' David
Swan,opf Toronto, uncle of the
bride', was master of ceremonies.
Mrs. George Swan of Toronto,
grandmother of the bride attended
the wedding along with 'relatives
and friends from Hamilton, Bur-
lington, Toronto, London , Wind-
sor , Sarnia, Bothwell, Acton,
Goderich, Wingham and Lucknow.
' Friends and neighbours of the
bride, honored her with a Corn"-
munity shower at the St. Helens
Hall. Miss -Carol Wattam and
Miss Lynda Lyons held a girl
friend shower at Carol's home. A
relative shower was held at the
hOme of. Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Struthers , Sharon and Cindy. The
bride's mother entertained with a
trousseau tea at her home on
December 1.

reviewer: the past and presented
some of the objectives of the
coming year. A new fertilizer
spreader, truck, had been purchased
to help cop With the den-land for
more applied fertilizer. Store
hours have been changed and the
store will now be open all day
Thursday and close for the week-
end at noon on Saturday.'

Three directors were elected
for a three year, term: The retir-
ing directors were Jack Alton,
Bill Andrew and Frank Pentland.
Mr. Pentland was not eligible for
re-election. -
