Mrs. Bob Helm of Lucknow has
returned home from University
Rospital, London, where she was
a patient for four weeks. On
Christmas Day Mrs. Helm suffered'
a. fractured hip in a fall when she
slipped on some ice.
The Lucknow Women's Institute
will be held in the Town Hall
Assembly Room on. Tuesday , Feb-
ruary 12th at 1.15 p . Everyone

Party on Thursday evening in the
St. Helen's Hall. High prizes
went to Jim Coultes of Belgrave

second high going to Frank ,

Coming the' farthest was John
Lyons from Londesboro and the
most shoots to Gordon Black. The

Group Organize
A meeting of the.-Goderich Pro
Life and representatives of the
various churches in the Area was
held at the Victoria Street United
Church in Goderich to organize
the One Million Name Petition for
the unborn child.
The Petition was officially
launched in the area by Jack Rid-
dell and. Murray Gaunt, Liberal
M.P.P. for Huron and Huron-
Bruce.,
The Petition will be circulated
to the churches. Anyone of High
School age who, will not be 18 by
Fall; but understands the abortion
problem, may sign the petition
and enter their age
beside their name.
The goal for Goderich and Area
is 5000 signatures. The deadline
for the petition is June 30th. It
will be presented to Parliament
this Fall.
The Committee of One Million
is under the auspices of Alliance
for Life, which is the National
head of all.the Pro Life Groups
across Canada.
