The deal private industry
would make would be directly
with Ontario Hydro which
would be the controlling or-
ganization in the commis-
sioning and operation' of the
plants and would establish re-
quirements for ,design and
construction.
Ontario NDP leader Stephen
Lewis told The Record he sees
the appeal for private funding
fait the Hydro project as just
the first step in turning the
giant provincial utility over to'
private enterprisers.
Ontario Hydro chairman
George Gathercole said Hydro
will turn increasingly to nu-
tlear fuels for power. He pre-
dicted that Bruce Minty will
become the nuclear capital of
the world. ,
Canada's first full-scale nu-
clear station has been turning
out power for six years. When
the plant under construction
here is completed in 1978, it
will generate 3.2 Million kilo-
watts and a twin to it will then
be well under way.

Seeks Old Girl
With Songs
A Merry Xmas to the Luc know -
Sentinel!• I enjoy your pflper that
my brother sends me sometimes.
There was an old girl. there
a few years ago, from whom I
was able to collect old songs.
Her father kept a livery in the
old days. I have forgotten her
Scotch name, and I wish 'to•locate
old songs.
Her name could have-been
Isobel', and the .last name I .
know w9s Scotch, Campbell oz
such. he may have passed
away.
I was looking for "Old fashion-
ed Rosés are sweetest". She sent
me'some old songs; but at that
time I had a severe illness and
my memory was not so good.
Have you any real old people
who might remember a livery
or maybe blacksmith , etc.
Thanking you for trying;
Mrs. Josie Cleary,
