more. Each Institute had a num-
ber. SOVe had skits, some
poems, some singing. Mrs.
Oliver McCharles was chairlady.
They served.tea , coffee and do-,
nuts. It was. a very enjoyable
afternoon.

of Mary Well Griffin; youngest
daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.
John Griffin of Ashfield ,• who
died in Detroit on DeCember 16 ,
1973, She was born on April 19-,
1900, near" Kintail, on the farm
on Highway 21 now owned by. Don-
ald'Simpson. ' She is survived by
one brother Albin, and one sister
