'All members attended and Reeve Lyons presided. The minutes of the November meeting were read and adopted on motion of Councillors Ruther- ford and Hickey. On motion of Councillors Durn- in and Hickey, By-Law # 8, 1973, was given third reading and fin- ally passed. This by- law author- izes the reforestation of 10 acres - of land in Lot 25 Concession 6. On motion of Councillors Foran and Hickey , it was resolved "That the Township of West Wawanosh petition the Maitland Valley Conservation Authority to be accepted into the Lucknow River Watershed , on 'condition that the remaining mUnicipalities concerned also petition the Auth- ority for inclusion in the Watershed and are accet?ted". The 'Clerk was instructed' to write the Huron County Board of Education requesting it to accept two payments of 1974 rates 4 nam- ely on June 30 and December 15. On motion of Councillors Foran and Hickey , West Wawanosh Town Township agreed to purchase heat- ineuel from W. A. Hantilton, Lucknow. On motion 'of Councillors Durn- in and Hickey , the Road Superin- tendent was authorized to engage Davidson Well Drilling , Wingham, to drill a well at the public works garage. The road accounts were ordered paid on motion of Councillors For- an and Hickey.
