We wish him good luck, and hope he will, make many new friends at 'his new school. GRADE 2 This past week we have had two visitors in our room. Missy Miller brought her' large white cat , Jeannie to, class one day. It was interesting to watch it explore all corners of did Classroom. Peter Cottontail arrived on Thursday with Bruce Ernmerton. it was so funny to, see Peter trying to get around on our waxed floor. Our Science classes enjoyed observing the pets during the per- iod and we say "Thank You" to Missy and Bruce for sharing'their pets'withns for a day. SPORTS SECTION VOLLEYBALL -. by. Louis Tusz Boys and girls at Ripley-Huron Central School are now trying out for volley ball teains. Mr. Stanley is coaching the girls' team while Mr. O'Donohue is " coaching the boys' team. • Both teams will be attending a tournament on December 15 1973. This tournament will be held at Wingham High School. GIRLS' HOCKEY • The girls' hockey team will be made up of the grade. six , seven, and eights. Practices will, be every Thursday at noon. From the house league we will select an all-star team to play other schools. and Mrs, Jack McGuire were in Stratfor last Wednesday and also visited with Mr. and Mrs.. Henry.Howe of Listowel and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Engel and children of Dublin. Mrs. Albert Rheil and Andy of Goderich visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mri: Walter Black and family..
