The fund raising campaign for
the new Ripley-HuronRecreation-
Complex swung into high gear
this week as the ,personal canvass
of residents of the community be-
gan.
Comthittee members met On
Monday night and among them-
selves, made total donations of
$6600 to start the canvass.
Speaking with, the Sentinel, on
Tuesday morning , Robert Emer-
son, chairman of the committee
said that the total cost of the .
recreation complex , which will
include an artificial ice arena
and indoor swimming pool„ will
be $450,000. Discussions with
Federal and Provincial govern- •
ment representatives indiCate
that about 500/0 of this is available

Junior "B" hockey with Petrolia
Jets'., Ian, who played his hockey

and Juveniles , attend-school-
in Petrolia where he is in grade 11.
