It is the first trip back to her home land in 53 years - when Mrs. Riv- ett came to Canada as a war, bride. Crossing the ocean then had, many interesting and frighten- ing experiences. Mrs. Harold Jewell from God- erich is spending a few weeks with Jim Rivett and her grandsons,' Alan, Scbtt , Duane and Martin. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Spry from Niagara Falls, N.Y. visited Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Ivers 'for'a few days and treated them to a birth- day dinner on Monday. Mrs. John Kilpatrick of Arkona visited last week with members of her family at Belgrave , Lucknow and area . Mr. and Mrs. "Frank Eedy from Calgary arrived Thursday to visit Mr. and Mrs. H. J. L. Eedy and - members of the family. On Sun- day a large family• gathering was held in their honour. This group and comedians,• with dancing to follow.' On Monday Mis,s Margaret Mof- fat took her sister Mrs. Bob Don- ' aldson to Victoria Hospital where she will undergo eye surgery for removal of cataract.
