Mrs. Joynt's record of choir ser-
vice. She joined the choir short-
ly after coming to Lucknow and
remained closely associated with
it as a member for over 50 years,
and served, as it's leader for sortie
45' years. Mrs'. Joynt ended her
long and valuable term of service
December , 1963. k
Chief among Mr. Joynt's com-
munity activities was his munici-
pal service. He, served for five
years as reeve from 1943 through
1947; During'the latter year he
served as Warden of Bruce County.
A family dinner was held at
the Sutton Park Inn, Kincardine .
,the preceding Sunday in honour
of their anniversary. Present with
the honoured couple were their
son Georgeand his wife Jessie of
Lucknow and their two granddaugh•
ters Kathy of Lucknow and Jahe
(Mrs. William O'Hara) and her
husband of .Kincardine .
Mr. Joynt has one sister Mrs.
Robert (Maimie) Johnston of God-
erich. ,

silo at his home farm. He receiv'•
ed abrasions and contusions to his
right ankle. _

17, Wingham , received 1st pnd
2nd degree burns to his left Riot ,
caused by hot 'metal poured 'into
his boot.
Alan Thompson, R. R. 1. Holy-
rood, received painful burns to his
eyes September 18 while welding.'
He was hospitalized, overnight .
Michael Baks, age 8, R. R. 2
Teeswater, received a lacerated
sealp-September 22 when he fell
on a wagon at his home.
Murvin Solomon., Lucknow , fell
September 23 while roller skating
at the Lucknow Arena and fractur-
ed his right hip. He tai transfer-
red to University Hospital, Lon-
don, via ambulance.

Mrs. 'Stuart spent six weeks on a
tour of Europe with their daughter
and son-iii-law Mr. and Mrs. Eric
Olsen, who had spent the past
?our years travelling around the
