ZION Had Demonstration On Cookwear WHITECHURCH NEWS The regular September meeting of Whitechurch W.I. was held Monday evening; September '10 at 8.30 in Whitechurch Com-nun- ity Memorial Hall. The presid- ent Miss. Merle Wilson welcomed, —The Ode was sung and Creed members, visitors •and gueSts. repeated in unison. Miss Wilson gave• a report of the W.I. visit to Brucelea Haven and expenses.in- 'volved. Business discussed was Bruce County Rally, Convention, and making of Glengarry Caps from Bruce County Tartan for plough- ing match, Pot Luck Supper date to be November 2, and money making scheme' is to be discussed at October meeting. The mem- bers residing in Wingharn are buying knives and forks with the money they made last Winter. The roll call was well answered by suggestions of how to postpone old age. The 'motto, How to make and keep friends was given by Mrs. Johnston Conn. God said it was not good for man to, be alone and all down through the ages it has been the custom to have some one close whom we could call a, friend. It is a goOd•thing to be rich and a good thing to be strong but it is a better thing to be lov- ed by many 'friends. It is 'good to keep all our friends but never do of Christian so at the experts st and first principles. Hoenig, Regional Managers of Kitchener and ,Mrs. Helga Koehler, District Manager of Goderich. They had on display a set' of stainless steel and some old type cookware. Mts. Hoenig EESWATER referredito how farmers made their own, food , cooked. ' by coal and wood. Frozen•foods lose 201 in preparing. All fciod cooked was'without salt., grease' or water.
