IRVINE HENRY The death of Mrs. Irvyie Henry occurred in GOderich Hospital on Sunday, Atigust 26th in her 78th year, She was the former Frances Anderson, daughter of Archie Anderson and Janet McLean and was born in West Wawanosh Town7 ship on October 26th, 1895, On October 4, 1923 she married. Irvine Henry of West Wawanosh, Township. Mr. Henry passed away in 1953. Mrs. Henry is survived, by one son Ross of Colborne Townihip, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and two sisters Elizabeth Anderson of Prince George, British Columbia and Mrs. Robert (Hazel) Purdon of Belgrave: Besides her, husband she was predeceased by her- parents and two brothers. The funeral service was held, at MacKenzie Memorial, Chapel, Lucknow on Wednesday, August 29th. Rev. J. Hummel Was min- ister. FloWer bearers were Russel Garry.Rintotil, Jack Alton and Bob Jefferson. • Pallbearers were four 'grandsons, Bill, Douglas, Randy and Donald Henry, Bob McNeil and a" nephew Archie Purdon. However; the general steer calf price was around $65.00, depending on weight and condition. There was a greater demand than usual for all classes of heifers. Heifer calves brought $53.50 to $56.50.; heifers 500-600 lbs, $48.30 - $55.50;' 600-700 lbs. $48.50 - $54.00; 800-900 lbs. $45.00 - $49.50; Steers 600-700 lbs. $58.75 - $63.00; 700-800 lbs. $54.25 - $57.85; 800-900 lbs. $430 - $54.90. What's New At Huronview Everyone, enjoyed another visit on Monday afternoon by the 'The Band". This group have been able to provide a variety of selections with five wind instruments, drums, electric organ and a soloist. Eight tables of.euchre and crok- inole were played at the games on Wednesday afternoon. "Family ,Night" was held in the Auditorium this week with Albert Craig of Bayfield and Becky How- es of Clinton sharing the program. Each of the entertainers provided their own accompaniment with Albert Craig playing the guitar and singing Several familiar tunes and requests. Becky Howes with her accordian led a sing-a -71ong of old favourites dividing them in groups to suit everyone's fancy such as Scottish, Irish and war songs. Following the enter- tainment a new Resident was wel- comed to the "Home", Harvey Bryons of Brussels. Miss Ducharrne, prior to becom•- .ing Miss Dominion of-Canada, was a high school graduate, model, and held the title of Miss Niagara Hospitality.
