The regular Council meeting
of Kinloss Township was held on
- September 4, 1973 at 7.30 p.m. ,
,the .reeve, and all Council present.
After the minutes were adopted,
Frank Thompson and a representa-
' tive from Frank Cowan Insurance
were present to review the Town-
.ship insurance. Coverage On the
non-automotive policy was
increased from $500,000.00 to
$1,000,000.00.
• The clerk 'was asked to contact.
Grey-Bruce Assessment Office re:
the school house on No. 9 high-
way, regarding taxes.
Council accepted a petition
from. Bob Bregman and Wm. Bates
for an improvement to the Moffat-
Thompson draih and instructed
the clerk to contact the

The first 'meeting of the Kings-
bridge Kitchen Kuties was open-
ed by the leaders, Mrs. Tom Hog-
an and Mrs. EUgene Frayne. ,
Twelve girls were present. The
election of officers were: Presid ,-
ent , Janette Hogan; Vice Presid-
ent, Marianne Frayne; Secretary,
Irene ;Hasty; Treasurer, Cathy
Simpson; Press Reporter'and Tele-
phone/ girls, rotating.
The member's pamphlets and
'handout sheets were passed. out.
The Leaders discussed what 4-H
was about to all the girls. The
'meeting was adjourned.
Kitchen Ktities
The meeting was held at Mrs.
Tom Hogan's house. This was
the 2nd meeting of the Kings- '
bridge 4-H. The meeting was
opened with the 4-H pledge. We
decided on a club name which is
Kingsbridge Kitchen Kuties. We
agreed on the colour blue, with '
silver letters for our book. We
then chose the recipe Apple
Dumpling for the next meeting.
For demonstration, we did two
dishes which are Blueberry Buckle
and Baked Bean Casserole. The
meeting was closed with the 4-H
motto. •
