Second Reunion
The second annual .McArthur
Reunion was held on Sunday, Aug-
uit 19th at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Bert Bushell, R. R.''# 5 Luck-
now. Guests were from as far ,
away as Toronto, Tobermory
Sault Ste. Marie and Collingwood
as well as Lucknow , lAringham,
Kincardine and surrounding area.
There were, games held for the
young and yoting at heart that
were enjoyed by all with
prizes for the winners. Prizes
were given out for the oldest,
Mrs. Florence McArthur of Col-
lingwood and youngest, Miss Judy
McAr(hur, also of Collingwood.
There was a ball, game held ,
wpiiCh was won' by a landslide,
by 'Wayne Bushell's team. There
was an auction held and a deli-
ciou's buffet as the finale. Mrs.
Rose Bushell. of Kincardine made
the second reunion cake, 'which
set off the buffet supper to per-
fection. .
It was a day for young romances
to begin and old acquaintances to
be renewed. A good time was
enjoyed by all.

Keith, Mr. and Mrs. Stewart

Open House in honour of Mts..
Roderick MacDonald's 80th birth-
day. Mrs. MacDonald is Mrs.
Pentland's mother. Many friends
and relatives called during the
afternoon and evening to 'congrat-
ulate her, and wish her continued
good health.
The Pentland families gathered
for a shower for Miss Barbara
Nelson of Toronto, fiancee of
Alwin Pentland, Toronto, son of
Mr. and. Mrs.• Benson Pentland of,
London.
These two gatherings provided
an opportunity to visit Mr. and
Mrs. Pentland and Lori in their
lovely new home , and renew
friendship' with other members of
the family.
