Mrs. Orville Tiffin was admitted to/ Wingham and District Hospital on Monday. She is wished a speedy recovery by the commun- ity. Carolyn Taylor, had the topic "Getting a horse ready, to show". She,had as her model Timmy Tylor who had been brushed, curried, combed, 'clipped . shav- ed , and his legs and tail rapped to prevent injury while loading, and a sheet on him to keep him tlean. Timmy also had his bath the night before.. Carolyn also ,gave a list of items needed to take along, two of which were an onion to shine hoofs and corn starch to keep the horses socks or white ,stockings clean and white. Good news of the club: Ralph Aadlers , sons David and Larry taOkpart in the two'hund- red mile trail ride that starts at Ottawa and ends around George- town and is known as the Great Pine 'Ridge Trail'. Ralph and boys each were presented with ", citations for riding seventeen miles of this trail. Maybe next year a few more of us can take part 'in this ride,.• .
