past week.: This is really good
ball to watch and along with the
new pool and roller skating and
refreshment booth facilities, the
entertainment has been most en-
joyable. Ashfield All Stars has
been fortunate in winning so far
in 3 games in the 11 and under,
also in age, 12 to 15. The girls
were defeated by St. Helens 20-21
wand the Ashfield men won over

Dungannon/4 -PI
Dungannon #1 held their second
meeting Tuesday, August 28 , at
7.30 p.m.
At this meeting we had one ,
visitor, Barbara Aitchison of St.
Helens. 'We picked our club nick-
name from a selection of two:
Dungannon Country Cuisines or
Dungannon Guided Gourmets.
The vote decided on "Dungannon
Country Cuisines:' Our books will
be black with white lettering. .
The discussion was on "Herit-
age from. New France". The
demonstration was prepared by Jan
Caesar and Betty Errington. In
20 minutes we had a good but very
sweet dessert because of the maple
syrup. It was called Grand-Peres
and was very much like dump-
lings.
The next meeting will be- held,.
