Andrew's Presbyterian Church,
Wingham. Mrs. Estey, the for-
mer Doris Louise Fisher, is the
daughter Of Mr and Mrs. George
D. Fither of Wingham. Parepts of
the groom are Mr. and Mrs.
George E. Estey, of Port Elgin..
Rey. Robert H. Armstrong offi-
ciated at the ceremony amid a
Setting Of peonies and orange
blossoms. Mri.' Mary Dawson,,
sister-of the bride,, of Campbell-
ford, presided at the console of
the Organ and the bride's cousins,
Gary, Boyd and Blaine Car-
ruthers of Ripley, sang two trios,
"I Love You Truly" and "0 Per-
fect Love".
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride chose a' floor-
length gown of nylon sheer with
emiradered lace trim on , the
bodice. The sheer sleeves were
also trimmed`. with lace and a
train made of matching lace fell
from the dress. A Juliet cap held
her short veil and she carried,, a
white Bible with red Sweetheart
roses.
Mrs. Marion CoOk of London
was matron of honor and brides-
' maids were Miss Cheryl
Lougheed, niece 'of the bride,, of
Pickering, Miss Joan Anderson of
Lucknow and Miss Geri Bennett
of Wingham. They were gowned
in similarly-styled floor-length.
dresses, Mrs. Cook and Miss
Lougheed Wearing pink and Miss
Anderson and Miss Bennett in
blue. Each attendant wore a
floppy-brimmed white' hat and
carried a nosegay of daisies.

daisies.

tuxedos with white ruffled shirts.
Carruthers' Orchettra of Rip-
ley provided music for dancing at
the reception which followed in
the Wingham Legion Hall. A
smorgasbord supper was served.
R'eceiving the guests, the
bride's mother wore a' floor-
length gown of pink polyester
crepe with white accessories and
a corsage of deep pink Sweet-
heart roses. The groom's mother
chose a black and white gown
with white accessories and a cor-
sage of red: Sweetheart roses.
For' travelling, the bride *chose
a plaid pant suit, with white ac-
cessories and a yellow corsage.
She is a 'graduate of the Marvel.
Beauty School. in London.
Out-of-town guests attended the
wedding, , from Pickering, Don
Mills, Guelph, Kitchener, Lon-
don, Port' Elgin, Fredericton,
New Brunswick, Ottawa, Owen

and Whitechurch.• The groom's
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
Estey of Fredericton, were

4-H Calf Club
- Lucknow 4-H Calf Club held
'their regular meeting on July
26 at the farm of Glenn Walden.
Ken Mewhinney opened with the
4-1-1 pledge. The minutes of the
last meeting and roll call were
given 'by Mary Anne Alton.
Glenn Walden showed how to
clip a dairy calf for the fair,
while Hugh Todd showed the
beef members how to prepare a
beef calf. The members then
discussed the lesson for,this meet-
- ing, and answered the .quit
David Mewhinney thanked
Glenn for the use of the barn and
Mrs. Walden for the lunch.
