the arrival of the bride's mother,

proCesaiOnal, 'Gounod's
"Ave Maria" as the couple knelt
at the altar, and ,t'll"_hese. Whom
God Hath Joined Together", dur-
ing the signing of the register...
Mrs. Margaret Kai of Oakville
presided at the organ.
Given in marriage by her moth-
er and father, the bride chose 'a
bridal gown of silk lagoda feat-
uring a softly scooped neckline,
full bell.sleeves, and a' fitted
empire bOdice which was banded
with a satin ribbon: A long chap-
el train fell gracefully from the
A-line skirt.- Delicate appliques
of swiss guipur,e outlined the neck-
line, cuffs of bell sleeves r and
bordered'the skirt andtrain. A
coronet' of matching• guipure
lace held the chapel veil of silk
illusion. The veil was edged with
silk edging and appliques of
guipure lace. The bride
tarried a cascading bouquet of

ivy, and Baby's Breath.
Mrs. Janice Robinson. of
Blyth, was, her sister's matron 'of
honour. She was gowned in a •
floor-length creation of chiffon
over. taffeta. Het dress featured
a bone-coloured bodice, full
sheer sleeves with wide gathered ,
cuffs, and an' apricot skirt with
a •deep ruffle'at the bottom. A
soft apricot ribbon threaded the
bodice, which was adorned with
bone lace 'trim and delicate
appliques. Janice wore an apri-
cot•picture hat and carried a
bouquet of orange -delight carna -
dons and white Shasta daisies.
Miss Carol McDonnell, sister
of the bride , Miss Sue Campbell,
presently ofPrince George, B.C..
and friend of the bride, and Mrs.
Ruth Paul. of Napanee, also a
friend of the bride, were brides-
maids. They were attired ident-
ically to the matron of honour
and carried similar bouquets.
Mr. Andy McAeskill of Walker-
ton, was the groom's best man.
Guests were ushered by Don MC
'Dowell, brother of the bride;
Bruce Jermyn, cousin of
groom, and Charles Thompson,
friend of the groom. '
Parents of the bride and groom
received friends, and relatives in
the Blyth United Church basement
where a dinnet was, served. • , A
three-tiered wedding cake decor-
ated the head table. The bride's
mother chose -a floor-length gown
of multi-coloured chiffon, feat-
uring a V-shaped neckline 'and
long chiffon sleeves. She wore
black accessories and a corsage
of mauve-,-tipped carnations.
The mother. ofthe groom received
in a floor-length gown of floral
rose chiffon. 'Ruffles adorned .
the neckline and puffed sleeves
of sheer floral rose chiffon were
held by wide cuffs. She chose •
ascessories of White and wore a
corsage of rose-tipped
carnations. Guest of honour
at the wedding was Mrs. Mary
McDoWt11, grandmother of the
bride. .
Following the 'dinner , guests
were' invited back to the home ,of
the bride's parent's where wedding
gifts were on display. They
later attended a reception at the.
Auburn Community Hall. Guests
attended from Prince George,
New York, Mississauga , Barrie,
'Oakville,' Cookstown, Toronto,
Napanee, Port Perry,. Kitchener,
W: terloo, London, Goderich, 1
Lucknow , Whitechurch, Walker-
ton, Kincardine, Durharn, Ham-
ilton, Holyrood, Dungannon,
Hanover, ,-Gorrie, Bluevale and
Blyth.
For travelling, the bride • chose
a floor-length sleeveless dress of
blue floral design against .a white.
background. She wore
white accessories and a corsage
of yellow, carnations. •
'Prior to her marriage , Judy
was honoured at two miscellan-
eous showers. A community
shower was held at the home of
Mr. Arnold Cook and friends
and relatives of. Blyth gathered
at the home of Mrs. Janice Rob-
inson to honour Judy. A' lingerie
shower was' given by the women
staff of the Howick. Central
Schooi, at Judy is employ-.

Following their marriage, Mr.
arid Mrs. Gibb will reside in
Walkerton Yir• Gibb is
employed in the Account;
Department of Canada Packers
Ltd. Mrs. Gibb, a graduate of
the University of Guelph and
London Teachers' College, will
continue to teach at Howick
Central School.
