At‘the last executive meeting,
it was decided to purchase.a new
frig for the bar which has since
been delivered and installed.
At that same meeting final
plans were made for the Paul
Henderson day which is now hist-
ory, and the branch extends sin-
cere thanks to all who came; as
well as those who helped in var-
ious ways to make it a great
success and.a fine tribute to a
home town boy. /
At the last regular meeting •
held on Tuesday,' June 26th in-
stallation of two new executive
members took place' by Past Pres-
ident George Whitby, namely
Frank McQuillan and Yours •
Truly.
After a lot of discussion the

will be a group reponsible for
each week and we hope it will
work out and improve things for
everyone.

perience of seeing a large dark
swarm of bees fly right over the
roof of the big red barn at the
Richard Elliott homestead on the
eighth concession, halfway be-
tween Holyrood and Ripley. The
bees are now comfortably settled
between the. hay bales in the
barn.. A call was made bye Wayne,
for help which arrived just too
late.
