Churchof the Ascension,
Kinlough, one of the youngest
persons to hold that parish office
in the Diocese.
To this position she brought
talent and a spirit of loyalty
through these years of service.,
Continuing her music studies ,
she later received her Associate
R.. R. 4: Ripley, graduated from
Seneca College with a Fashion
Arts diploma.
•Jackie was unable to attend
the College Graduation as she
was on a six weeks study tour of
Europe with the school.

During. this long period of ser-
vice to .her church, 'she missed'
very few services.
She has also played for 33 wed-
dings. and 51 funerals and two 50th
wedding anniversary services of •
Thanksgiving.,
On Sunday, July 8th at 11
o'clock, a special service will be
held in, the Church to mark the
occasion, ,followed by a luncheon;
served by, the Church ladies.
On the same afternoon, Open
'House /Will be held in the church
basement from 3 to 5 o'clock
when friends are invited to attend.
Edna resides with her sister May
in Kinlough, just' across the road
from the Anglican Church where
she has served so faithfully for so
many years.
Mother Passes
The funeral service for Mrs.
George (Olive). Campbell of
Strathdee Lodge at Strathroy was -
held on Monday at Ailsa Craig
with burial in Ivan Cemetery.
Mrs. Campbell, who was 84 ,
is the. mother of Mrs. Harold -
(Anne) Austin of Lucknow. $he
spent most of her life in the Ild.er•.
ton area.
Besides Mrs. Austin,'she is
survived by another daughter
and one son. Her husband'died
four years ago.

In Culross Twp.
About p60/0 of the eligible vot-
ers in Culross Township turned
out to the polls on Wednesday of
last ,week and cast their ballots on
two liquor questions.
The question of a dining lounge
licence (.liquor with meals) was
approved 207 votes for and 32
against. The majority in fav;-'
our was 82, 4%.
On the question of a lounge
licence (liquor alone) the vote
