R. 3 Lucknow, took place; in Ashfield Presbyterian Church on Friday, May 25th at 5.30 p.m. Rev. Kenneth Rooney officiated atthe double: ring ceremony. Given in marriage'by•her fath- er, the bride wore a floor length gown .of white lace over, satin with full sleeves caughtup with bows above the elbow and featur- ing .a scooped neckline and full panelled lace skirt. •A floral arrangement held. her elbow length chantilly veil and she carried a bouquet of yellow roses with white carnations. Mrs. Janis Berger of Farmington,, Michigan was matron of honour. She wore a floor length gown of yellow lace over satin styled the same as the.bride's gown. She carried a small bouquet of white carna- tions arna-tions and yellow, roses. Bridesmaids were Miss Brenda Culbert, dressed in yellow, Miss Ann Hackett and Miss Marion MacDonald, . both iiri purple. Their gowns were styled the same as the matron of honour's. Tim Mac Donald of Fort Nelson, British Columbia was his twin brother's groomsman. Ushers were Roddy. MacDonald, and Russel MacDonald, of Ash- field, Cliff Emmerton and Dennis Courtney of Huron Township. A reception followed at the •Lucknow..Legion Hall. The bride's bride's mother; chose a' floor - length dress of light .blue with daisy,trim, white accessories and corsage of yellow roses. The groom's mother wore a floor - length dress with floral skirtand plain top, white accessories and a corsage of yellow roses. For travelling the bride chose a pink dress with white accessor- ies and corsage ' of 'red roses. • Following a wedding trip to Sandusky., Ohio-, the couple will reside in London. R. 4 Wing - ham, was admitted to hospital following .a tractor accident on. his farm. He was thrown off his uactor, receiving 'chest injuires, injured knee and hand, contusions and. abrasions. Mervyn Hodgins, age 23, Lucknow ,. had the distal end of his right index finger amputated ' while fastening the loader to the tractor, the loader clamping his finger. • Mrs. Frances Harnock, R. R. 1 Gorrie , had a fish hook removed from her thumb. Malcolm. McLeod, Wingham, received severe lacerations tohis left wrist which necessitated a transfer to St. Joseph Hospital, London, via ambulance. Diane Hill,, age 15, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Hill, fell off a horse on a farm in Dungan- nonand fractured her left upper arm. . Thys Kloostra, age 23 R. R. 3°Wingham, fell off a car while riding on the trunk of same through a field. He suffered, multi -abrasions and contusions to the body ' and head. Investigat ed'byWingham O.P.P. Wittig. Paul'Robinson, age 6, 'Wing - ham, son. of Mr. and Mrs. Thom- as Robinson, was admitted to' hospital with head injuries and abrasions after falling off his bicycle. Maurice Stainton, Wingham, was treated for .lacerations to his right hand while repairing a lawn mower. • Carla Smith, age 13, Wing - ham , received a •deep:lacera- tion to her chin when she was thrown off her bicycle. Elmer. Stanley, age 30, R. R. 2 Wingham, was driver of a car which swerved to miss a .deer on the road on the 25th Sideroad ,of Culross, between Teeswater and Wingham. The car •went out of control and struck a tree. Mr. Stanley received an injured right wrist and abrasions to head and face. Investigated by Kincardine O.P.P. Passenger in the car, Mrs: Phyllis Stauffer, Holyrood, was admitted to hospital with multi -abrasions and contusions, injured left shoulder, arm and knee. • r. Mrs. Kay Smith, R. R. 2 Teeswater, had her fourth finger amputated at the end of the finger when she caught it in some harnessof a horse that suddenly reared, at the Teeswater Park, Admitted to hospital, condition satisfactory..
