The regular May meeting of
Whitechurch Women's Institute •
was held on Monday evening,
May 14 at 8.30 p.m. in White-
church Community Memorial
Hall with President Merle Wilson
presiding. • - ••
The Ode was.sung and Collect
repeated. The motto -• The
farm is the food factory of the •
Nation lets keep the assembly
line rolling was given by Mrs.
Elgin Johnston. At last prices
are soaring and the farmer is
gaining some recognition. The
Canadian Farmer now realizes
he has been working for a. long •
time for little gain and is rather
discontented. The farmer is now
tired of being/ classed a second-
ary citizen. Farmers hope the
time has come for, fair prices
and reasonable profit. •• ,.
