underwent surgery. Mrs. Steward
spent the past week with her

family in London before return-

Mr. and Mrs. W. G. ' Hunter of
Lucknow spent the holiday week
end in Stratford 'visiting Roy and
Arlene Keane and also visited
with Mrs. Roy Keane, who is a
patient in Stratford General
Hospital,' Arlene returned home
with her grandparents.
Mr. and Mrs. Chill Raynard and
Kathy of London visited last week
end in Lucknow with his parents
Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Raynard.

Listowel were Sunday visitors at
the Raynard home.

London spent last week end .with
her mother Mrs.. Charles Steward
in Lucknow.
Mr. and Mrs. Clare Johnstone
spent Mother's Day with Mr. and
Mrs. Robert Dagg and grandson
Jeffrey of London. They also
visited with their son Hugh who
also is in London. Their grand -
son.Jeffrey returned with them
to visit for a week.
Mrs. Annie Jewitt of Lucknow
returned to her home last:Thurs-
day after being a patient. in Wing•
ham: and District Hospital for
3 1/2 weeks.

'THAT a single car accident late
Monday afternoon on the road
between Amberley and Amber -
ley Beach did extensive damage
to a Kitchener man's automo-
bile and injured one of t'=e•pas•-
sengers. Leonard Fengler, who
has a seasonal residence at
Point Clark, was proceeding
east' on the roa'd•.and at a point
in the swamp midway between
the lake and highway 21, in
attempting to pass the car of
John Coleman of Richmond
Hill, the Fengler auto struck
the shoulder on the north side
and went out of control into
the south ditch knocking off a •
hydro pole. Edeltraud Fengler
was removed by ambulance with
an injured leg and other abra-
sions. Hydro was off in the area
while the rescue was made and
while repairs were completed.
