'en's Happy Handi-Crafters was
held at St. Helen's Hall on April
5. The meeting opened with the
4-H Pledge. The roll call was
answered and the minutes of the
Iasi meeting and the treasurer's'
report were read. The next meet-
ing is 'April 11.
We talked on•Achievement Day
plans and discussed our Home.

club. We then read "Getting
Ready to Sew with Knits" On
pages in our member pamphlets

lines, lapped band and mitred •
neckbands.
For Group Work every girl
did at least 2 samples the leaders
demonstrated.. •
For Home Work we are, to read
pages 31-33 in members pam-
phlets and do •meeting 4'hand-
out notes. We are to bring a,
piece of material to next meet-
ing to do a sample, of the tailor's
hem. •

ed articles.
Nifty. Knits
The sixth meeting of the Dun-
gannon Nifty Knits was held on
April 6 at Linda Young's. The
4-41 pledge was repeated. 'the
roll call'on,how to care for your
garment was answered.
The minutes of the last meet-
ing were read. The programs for
Achievement Day were handed
out. The next meeting will be
on April 19 at 7.00 p.m.
Mrs. MacInnis led the discus-
sion on conventional and invisible
zippers and applying elastic.
Linda Young explained hOw to
sew a mock cuff.
We filled in our handout notes
and each member' did a sample
of the mock cuff 'for her record
book. r.
The meeting was adjourned.
Knit Wits
The fourth-meeting of the
Dungannon Knit Wits was held
on March 31, at the home of.
Mrs: Howard Culbert. We open-
ed the meeting with the 4-H
Pledge and for the roll call,corn-
pared the total cost of our gar-
ment to a similarly made one.
Achievement, Day is on June
9 at Wirigharn High School. OUr
record books are due in Clinton
on. June 1. Lori Pentland gave
the secretary's report. The next
meeting will be on April 14,
1973."
Discussion was on finishing
necklines and everyone did a
sample of a neckline edge trim-
med with binding.. The meeting

owe1 on Friday where Mrs. Bill
Wilkens was scheduled to have
surgery but it could not be per-
formed due to the fact they did
