The March'.meeting of the Holy
rood Women's Institute was held
on March 1st at the home of Mrs.
Lorne Eadie. Mrs. Morgan•John-
ston presided and welco'med every-
one'. After the singing ofthe
Ode , the Mary Stewart Collect
was repeated in unison. The
minutes of the January meeting
and those of the .family night

The officers Conference will be.
held at Waterloo on. May 1st , •
2nd and 3rd. ,
It was decided to cater for one'
meal at the Lucknow Craft Fest-
ival as in' former years. . The
local fall fair prize. lists were
read and it was decided to have 'a
display at Ripley. and Lucknow.
A ldtter was read from Mrs.
Harvey Noblitt presiderii of the
Federated Women's. Institutes.of
Ontario. A letter was also read
regarding the Grey, Bruce Folk
School to be held later this
month.
The District Director's meet-
ing will be held in Lucknow.
The' hostesses for the April meet-
ing will be Mrs. Dan
McInnes and Mrs. 'act Maxwell
and the meeting will be held in /
the hall. The next card pirty ,
will be March 12th. The roll
call was "Name an herb and the
dish in which it would be used".
