first game, of the OMHA "D"
quarter finals. 'A large number
of LucknOr fans attended the
game 'only to see Lucknow lose
by a very, close 5-3 decision. It
was very exciting from start to
finish with many near goals.
Lucknow's Danny Lonclry open-
ed the scoring in the first, period'.,
with a shot from the point. Goals
by Mark Frayne and Eric Cayley °
put the local team ahead 3-2
at the close of the second period.

Thursday night Lucknow played
in Goderich and "lost one .of their
very few games ,this season by a
score of 5-2. The game was ,a
completely different game than'
the team played Tuesday night.

minutes Sunday and,then coasted
to a 6-1 win over .Lucknow. The
Lucknow boys will have , to im-
prove their game considerably in
order to defeat Atwood this year.
Lucknow continually were on
the attack after the first period
but the' Atwood goalie played
brilliantly to protedt their lead
and frustrated the LucknOw boys,
timeand time again..
Lucknow's lone goal came off
the stick of Mike Courtney,
assisted by Daye Mackinnon and
John Emberlin.

In Town and Country hockey
playoffs, Kintail defeated Kings-
' bridge two games in a row
to win the best two out of three
series. Kingsbridge stayed close
all the way until Kintail got the
insurance goal in the last two.
Minutes. The final score was
kintail goals were scored
by Sandy Simpson 2; Jim Simp-
son, Clete Dalton and Dennis
Quinlan, one each. For
Kingsbridge it was/Brian Petrie

end of regulation time. In over-
time Lucknow scored 3 times and
Holyrood once to end the game
with a '7-5 scote. . '

girls.hockey team on Tuesda
February 27th: Belgtave and
LuCknow played in the Luck
arena.
The first period ended, ina
