Miss Kerty Farrell, who is en-
rolled in the pharmacy college
of the University of Toronto, was
home for the week end visiting
with her parents Mr. and Mrs.
Stewart Farrell and family. Ketry
recently spent a week in Acapul-
co, Mexico.
The funeral service for Mrs.
Don Thompson, former resident
of the fourth concession east in
Huron Township, was held at the
McLennan-McCreath Horne in
Ripley with interment at Ripley
Cemetery -last Saturday afternoon.
Sympathy is extended to her'son
John D. Thompson of the fourth
of Huron, her daughters and all
relatives. The family home on
the fourth concession east is kept
in good repair and is used as a
summer residenCe by the family.

Toronto Police force was up or
the week end visiting with his
wife and son, his mother Mrs.
John Hill'and his brother at '
Reid's Corners. His' father, Rev.
John Hill is on a group tour in
the Middle East visiting several
countries including. Israel and
Egypt. Chuck was saying that in
a week or so he will be on cruiser
patrol in mid Toronto and in the
near future will return to the
police college at Aylmer. Dur-,
ing Rev. John Hill's absence, the
Sunday services at Pine River and
Bethel are being taken by Lester. •

at her grandmother's home'.
