Bob was in Wingham picking up his, licence'plates and , the chilgren sat in the station,wagon for a very short time while he was in the licence office. He then went to the dairy in Wing- ham and upon returning to the car with a treat for the children, found Timmy unconscious in the, car.' ,He rushed the youngster to' the' hospital and, by the time he reach. ed there and opened the door, Nancy was unconscious. f. He removed Nancy , placed her on the ground and rushed Timmy into the hospital where he was revived. Returning immediately Donald' Malcolm Scott , 14-year- • old son of Mr. and Mrs. • Malcohn Scott of i3elgrave, died instantly abotit 8 p.m. last Thurs- day evening, February 22 when' the snowmobile he was operating was in collision with a parked car. The. accident happened on the 9th of ,East Wawanosh, County road 20, west of the village of Belgrave not far from the East Wawa.nosh school. He had been snowmobiling with a friend David Dunbar when the accident happened. David was operating another machine. Donald's mother is the former Freda Hunter of this community , and her, mother , Mrs. Jake .Hunter. CONTINUED ON PAGE 19 Don and Bev Thompson of The Lucknow Sentinel attended the annual convention of the Ontario. Weekly Newspapers Assoeiation held in London from Thursday to Sunday last week. Don retired after serving four years as a director, of the associa- tion and as a fitting, ending to the period of service won the "grand prize" draw at the windup Presid- ent's Ball on Saturday evening. He was the winner of round- trip air transportation for two to anywhere in the world where Air Canada fly. All registered publishers or their' representatives at the con- vention were eligible for this prize donated by Air Canada.
