The class is presently studying the symbols and• concepts of language, and consequently students are under taking an interesting project in co-operation with the. Ripley- Huron Central School. • The purpose of this, project is to observe language patterns in Tchoo-Tchildren with the use of tape recordings of interviews. Handling the six year-olds were Debbie Tranter and Karen Elliott,, while Bonnie Boyle and Joyc Elliott conducted sessions with ght-ye-af,o-Ids. For those engaged in physical educa- lion classes and intramural volley- ball and table tennis contests, this was indeed a, hardship. On Monday, Tuesday and •Wednesday nights from 4 - 6 p.m. 72 enthusiastic curlers, including teachers, the old pros and those just learning ', take to, the ice ,with-their-everfaith fat-brooms-- their sides. Students from Ripley Who attend F. E. Madill ih Wing- ham curl on Monday nightS. There are six teams per night and each team •plays five games and then new teams are chosen. 'visited Athens and were present at a banquet, in which a movie was taken. They plan to revisit, Greece again and have extended an invitation to other secondary schools in Bruce' County. They also discussed the trip, cost in- volved and passports. In order to raise money, handbags made in Greece can be purchased from any student planning to undertake the voyage.
