On Tuesday .December 5 ,• the
Lucknow Girls played and won
their first hockey game of the
season.
• The game was played on home
ice against Belmore, last year's
champions, The girls team
have a' good nu'mber of new, play-
ers and-shoul&-hav-e-prornising-
results this year.
The score in .the game was 3 .-1.
Goal scorers were Marg Chester',
Donna Greer and Mary Bradley.'

The hi-monthly meeting of the
Riders Roost Saddle Club was held
at the home of Ralph and Pat
Aalders/with.27 members and
'guests present. Bits of good news
started off the evening, followed
by. a healthy treasurer's report by
Pat Aalders. Sadie MacMillan
then read the report of the last
me eting;
present by 7.00 p.m. The pres-
ident also proposed that the draw
for the pony saddle be held on
Friday evening, December 1, at
7.30 at Jack McDonagh's store,
Jack himself making the draw. It
was felt also that the winner
