Walkerton Council has refused
to direct its 1073 deputy reeve
not to attend 'county council' ses-
.sions.
The decision will probably
thwart Bruce county council's plan
to reduce its size next year from •
46 to 31. Agreement from all •
municipalities is required to make
the plan work.
Most other towns and townships
have agreed to go along with the
cutback.
Reeve J. ,P. Johnstone and Dep-
uty Reeve Walter Marshall were
the only members of Walkerton
council to endorse the cutback.
