Volleyball Tourna- ment ,on December 9th in Wing- ham High School, for both girls and boys. These teams have been formed from Grades 6, 7 and 8. Many practices and hard work have been put into these teams, and they hope for success. CHEER LEA.DERS: *The Cheerleaders which will go to the Volleyball Tournament on December 9th have been chosen by Mrs. McMurray and are head- ed by-Captain Linda Campbell and Nancy Warren. They will cheer their teams on to victory as they fight to win. SUPPLY TEACHER Mrs. Wheeler, the Grade 7/8 Class,teacher was taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchenei in order to have an operation. Her classes have been temporarily -taken-over by:Mrs. Gilchrist who is now •teaching such classes as Home room,. Geography, Health and Grammar. She is home now and we hope to see her 'back soon, able to teach, after a complete recovery, CHRISTMAS CONCERT The Chritmas Concert,for this year is based on the story of Snow White which will be put on by Grades - Kindergarten up to Grade 5. This will take place Decem- ber 8th at 8.15 p.m. at the school. - by Sandra Henderson. THE BAND Lucknow Centrars Band left the school Friday at 9.0.0 a.m. ,to go to Kincardine .and from there they go to Teeswater then to Mildmay where they, have 'No appearances, one in the afternoon and one in. the_ evening . Ttie Junior Band plays "Three Trumpets in Three-Quarter Time': accompanied by the Senior Band. After the concerts are finished 'the bands should be home by 10.30 p.m, -' by' Linda Forsythe,. AMBERLEY Congratulations are extended' to Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Rotteau (nee Dianne Kernpton) who were married in Pine River United Church on Saturday. Special guest at the wedding was Mrs. Mabel Campbell of Lucknow, great grandmother of Diannes. • The family of Mr. and Mrs. Jim 'Bradley welcorried a new member this past week - a new little daughter arrived in London Victoria Hospital.
