Pam Agnew and Karen Elliott
of Lucknow spent a week in
Detroit with Pam's sister Judy Agnew
Miss, Margaret MacDonald of
Sarnia and her parents. Mr. and
Mrs. 'W-F-Fv-hlaeDonal4-4-Luck
now recently returned from a
trip through Northern Ontario.
While in Iroquois Falls they took
a log tour throUgh the plants of
the Abitibi Paper Company. This,
is one of the largest plants of its
kind in the world. They have
about 40,000 acres of forest leas-
ed from the Government and pro
duce about 950 tons or 20,car-
loads of paper each day. After
touring the mill they Were taken
by bus 35 mileS into the bush to
the logging camp where they saw
ing operation done in the mod-
ern way. After the tour they
were taken to the buSh camp to
a large steel covered 'buildilig
the dining hall, where they were
given'a steak dinner; smorga,s ,
bord fashion ; in a modern dining
halt.

from a two week holiday trip to
