school college and university
Theatre Arts students, is once
again operating under a grant
from the Federal Government's
Opportunities for Youth Program
and is performing in the Ball
Park' on Friday, August 25th at
1.00 p.m. The company, was
formed to -tour Western Ontario on
e ends • erformin
plays free of charge wherever the
entertainment was welcome.
During the summer , Western
Ontario residents have relatively
few opportunities to see good
• live theatrical entertainment.
In 1971, the Lambton Youth
Theatre provided excellence in
li-ve_dpenntheatrehefround
performing a play entitled CHE
in the area.

pants in The Lambton- Youth
Theatre, Adam Giberson, Lloyd

George Olds, Bert Pullen; Steve

and Dev Sullivan are developing
• the dramatid, musical, graphic
and literary talents of the group
and are once again ready to prov-
ide entertainment on a high level

The 'Lambton Youth Theatre's
1972 original dramatic perform-

primarily to entertain a summer
audience. 'A showcase, of dram-
atic entertainment entitled
Hexastylos is being presented in
college form which will appeal to
any audience. The program
includes a scene from the archet-
ypal Greek tragedy Prometheus
Bound by. Aeschylus; two hilarious
scenes from Shakespeare's A Mid-
summer-Night's Dream; the
celebrated realistic humorous tea
party scene from George Bernard
S —irs Pygmalion; a one act-
theatre-of-the-absurd play entitl-
ed. The Hero by Arthur Kopit (the
noted author of "Oh Dad, Poor
Dad., Momma's Hung You In The
Closet and I'm Feelin' So
the platonic parable Anthropos: or
the Future of Art by e.e..
cummings; and an original free -
form open theatre dance-drama
improvised by members of the
group.
The settings, costumes, prop-

By producing the Melange called
Hexastylos, The Lambton Youth
Theatre will once again expose
a large audience to the
excitement of live theatre.

son of Saskatoon states that after
he has read his:Sentinel, it goes
to Mrs. Margaret Foster in Sher-
brook Nursing Home there. She
finds other's who come from the
area who frequently see items of
interest in the , paper. Sandy
states that although it is 52 years
since he left Lucknow, he still
finds the Sentinel very interest •
ing.

For Federation
Mr. and Mrs. Don Thompson,
Susan and Nancy of Lucknow ,
attended-they 53rd_annual conven-
tion of the Canadian Community
Newspapers •Association in Mont-
real from Wednesday to Sunday of
last week. The trip was made

Besides the normal convention •
business, which saw all provinces
vote for a "Federation" structure
of the association, the event had
quite a round of social activity,

see the Montreal Expo baseball

A trip to "Man and His World" ,
the site of Expo 67, relived
many .memories. for The ladies
and children were guests for a
