liquid embroidery demonstration
had to be left till a later date.
If leaders can be found the W.I.
will sponsor a 4-H Club for the.
project "Dressing up Vegetables".

On July 9th about fifty descend-
ants of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jos-
eph Hatkett gathered at the 12th
Concession picnic grounds for
their annual get-together. A
bountiful dinner and supper was
.enjOyed. Although it rained
while they were gathering, it
cleared later and the sun Carrie
out and the outside activities

After dinner and some novelty
contests a programme was ,
enjoyed.- Paul and Shawn Dren-
nan played guitars and sister Jen-
nifer sang with them in setVeral
numbers. Dad and Uncle Mel
got into the act too. Lori Hack,

Lindsay da.nced to recorded bag
pipe music and Heather Lindsay
sang a solo. These numbers were
very much enjoyed,by all.
