' A, sale of station tested boars
will be held at the R.O.P. Swine
Testing Station, Lexington •Road,
Waterloo on Thursday, July 20th
at 8:00 p.m. Boars of the follow-
ing breeds will be sold:, York,
'Landrace, Hampshire, Duroc,
Chester White and Spot.
Buyers will have an unusual
chance to compare the perform-
ance figures on the boars being
offered because all the boars have
been tested under the same feed-
ing and management program.
Information on backfat thickness,
age at 200 lbs., weigh -probe in
deak average daily gain,.feed con
version . and loin eye area will be
available on each boar.
All boars offered for sale will
have a weigh-probe index of 100
or higher and will ,be physically
sound. -
An opportunity to buy a boar
with this kind of performance
information does not occur very
often. If you are looking for ai
