The bride wore a special necklace given to her by 'her paternal grandmother, which had been handed dawn through the generationi. Matron of honour was Mrs. Mar- lene Verbeek of Gorrie. She more a peasant dress 'of pastel blue dacron with embossed dais- ies and a white crocheted hat on` which was a wide pleated band of the dress materialhanging down the back, She carried' a white basket of daisies. • Bridesmaids were Mrs. Faye Bolger of Blyth ,j who was drdsseda. in lime green and Mrs. Peggy sister of the bride, in pastel pink. flowers were similar to the maid of honour's. Miss Sandee 'Robinson of Wing- barn ' was flower girl. She wore a. peasant dress of-white dacron with embossed daisies, a white crochet• ed-hat .withlellow-band-and car r ried a white basket of daisies: The ring bearer was Jamie Ver- ek of Gorrie, son of honour. Groomsman was Jamie Sander- son of Toronto, brother `of the groom. Ushers were David Sand- erson of London, brother of the groom and Steven Button of Luck- now , brother of the bride. Mrs: Ross Cumming of Lucknow was organist and played tradition- al wedding music. A reception followed at the Lucknow Arena., The bride's mother chose ,a pink lace dress with whiteCarna- tion corsage. The groom's mother wore a dress of light blue 'sheer chiffon over lace and white carnation ' corsage. For travelling the bride chose as red fortrel pantsuit with white lace trim. • • Following a wedding trip to Montreal . and 'The Laurentian the couple will residg in Wroxetet. . The groom is'ernployed with Farmatic 'at, Gorrie and the bride al Hospital. Moor FIELD, TRIP On June 16 Miss Elliott. and Ralph and Roger Morrison took Room Four for a walk across the river and into ,the forest. They saw a variety ,of exhibits but the following were the most interesting: the two- , headed calf,' the water-wheel, the clothes , the dolls and the train. • There were rriany other exhib- its but too many tcrmehtion. After touring the inside the children went outside and looked at the clock and log cabin. The children then bought souvenirs and returned to the school in time for lunch. The children were 'able to see pigeons,, peacocks, ducks and geese. The children were allowed to see a rooster from India , but nobody went' too close.
